About IC Style's Editor:

My name is Mary Rajotte, and I'm the editor of IC Style.  With almost 10 years experience as an independent designer, I know the difficulties smaller designers face when trying to market themselves.  With that in mind, I started Indie Collective as a directory to showcase these artists. 

In my spare time, I also have a passion for writing, so I felt the next logical step in spreading the word about indie designers further was to blog about them.  My posts are not simply "Check out this cool thing!".  With a little bit of wit, sarcasm, & fun, as well as pop culture references and an extra dash of moxie, IC Style is your headquarters for all things indie! 

I do freelance writing from my home in Toronto, Canada for my website Outstanding Ink, as well as jewelry & accessories design through my online boutique, Sparkle & Shine Design.
