Nature-inspired design gets a wonderfully cool and colorful makeover for eco-conscious fashionistas![]()
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock somewhere, “going green” is the new black. And when it comes to eco-friendly fashions, don’t worry. Your visions of itchy burlap sacks and plain-Jane palettes couldn’t be further from the truth.
Enter Finnbiskit. Combining the simplicity of Scandinavian design and taking inspiration from earthy palettes, the line’s designer, Heidi, has compiled figure-flattering skirts, tops & pants that each illicit their own degree of drool-worthiness. The fact that every item is made from hemp & organic cotton, and hand-dyed with low-impact dyes is like icing on a delicious-yet-sensibly-stylish cake.
The bias-cut Juhla is an adorable wrap skirt that boasts an asymmetrical hemline. The black/camel & khaki/camel colorways make perfect base items to any wardrobe,
and the extra-long ties are a fun detail – and you won’t have to go digging into your closet for a belt!
I’m also loving the Kala pants. How comfortable do these look?! The colour? Love it! The design? Luxe! The problem? I’m a shorty-pants! So, assuming I would be swimming in these pants, please – tall readers of the world – buy a pair, send me a photo of yourself sporting these on a weekend picnic or in your lush garden and let me live vicariously through you.
